incoming traffic from your customer module on the port
you programmed it to use and direct it to the proper
technican's computer. Visit the website for the
manufacturer of your device or for step-by-step

How to setup DualDesk and create customer modules
-------------------------------------------------

Run the DualDesk-Setup.exe program to install the viewer
program and add icons to your desktop.

After installing the software, run the Customer Module
Creator and click the Create Module button. It will
give you the Installation Code we will need to generate
the Registration Key for that workstation.

if you are upgrading from version 18 Email the
Installation code to support@dualdesk.com and include
the name of your company or attach the original invoice.

If you are purchasing a license for the first time,
visit http://www.dualdesk.com/order and enter the
installation code in the designated field.

You must create the support modules that you will
distribute to your customers. They will be placed on
your desktop in the DualDesk\Customer Modules folder.

To create the customer modules is simple. Click on the
"Create a customer module" icon in the DualDesk folder
and enter the required information in the customer module
section. See the DualDesk Creator or the DualDesk Users
Manual for detailed info.

Copy the customer_<address>_<port>.exe files from the
customer modules folder to a location accessible to your
customer, such as your website and create a link to them
on your support page.

You can also send them via email or on disk if needed.
We recommend you rename these to tech1.exe, tech1dsm.exe
etc. to prevent website visitors from knowing the address
and port to your viewer.

Before the customer runs the customer module, you must
have the DualDesk Viewer running in "Listen" mode on the
correct port the server will be connecting to or connect
to the proxy in repeater mode if you are outside your
local network. The "DualDesk <address>_<port> Listen"
icons will be created on your desktop by the creator
and do not need to be edited unless you are using port
mapping to redirect a public port to a different private
port number.

If you need to edit the listening port, right click on the
listen icon and select properties then change the "Target"
line to point to your new port.

If you have a single technician and use the default port:

 ...Program Files\Advantig\DualDesk\viewer.exe" -listen

If you specified non-standard or different ports:

	...\DualDesk\viewer.exe" -listen 10127
